THE general ALTERATION rule
Springrock Designs' general rule when making an appointment, I ask the customers to try to make an appointment two months in advance. This is to ensure fit in for two fittings appointments; if there is some complexity and need to order special materials, it will give me more time to complete. I understand the last minute, it doesn't hurt to reach out to see if there are any openings.
What do you need to bring? This is required to be brought to all the appointments.
1. Dressing outfits.
2. Undergarment.
3. Shoes.
If you do change your mind on what you plan to wear under the dress and shoes please do speak up, immediately. I cannot guarantee a perfect fit at the next fitting using different undergarments and shoes. It will add on more costs as if you plan to change things.
Please Shop Wisely: All dresses are designed measure differently overseas and in the United States variety by the brands, they do not use street measurements.
steaming
I do offer steaming service at each completion of alteration to remove any wrinkles that were being tweaked.
If you do need steaming without alteration services - just send an email to set up an appointment!
Keep in mind some clothing materials are unable to be steamed due to the material delicacy.
On the Wedding Day
Exciting as you can be! I do offer my services as a Traveling Seamstress for your special day.
Why would this be great asset to your wedding day? Here's the idea...
- Help you get dressed in
- Minimal repairs if accidently stepped on
- Steaming (*POPULAR* A lot of times Brides and Bridesmaid will have steaming service requested. Keep in mind some materials are not steam accepted.).
- Help Photographer play with the dress while the photographer snap lots beautiful shot of you in the dress.

appointment and rates
I cannot generally give confirmed rates without seeing you in person with your dress, shoes, and undergarments.
$50.00 is required when making an appointment. The invoice will be sent once the appointment is made. If it is not paid within 24 hours - it will be canceled.
Once the appointment is booked, I will expect you to arrive to the location - it is a personal residence or if you prefer me to travel to your home to complete the measurement of the body and apparel pinning.
If you do agree me to do the work: Full payment is required before starting the work.
Additionally Info:
Rush Fee Charge is $250 extra if it is two weeks and under for non-bridal wear.
Rush Fee Charge is $850 extra if it is four and under weeks for bridal wear.
